THE DFW SOLAR HOME TOUR - October
The DFW Solar Home Tour has two components- a self guided tour and an online virtual tour. Hosted by the North Texas Renewable Energy Group, the tour included solar projects across the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. The 2013 tour has yet to be scheduled

THE HILL COUNTRY SOLAR TOUR -October
The second Hill Country Solar Tour (2012)was a collaboration of TXSES and Pedernales Electric Cooperative.The tour covered five projects west of Austin off 290W, and one project off CR 165 between Henly and Blanco. Presentations on energy efficiency and construction, as well as solar energy basics, were offered at the PEC Oak Hill office. See videos of last year's tour and Cathy Redson's Solar 101 Class here. The 2013 tour has yet to be scheduled.
The ASES HOUSTON SOLAR TOUR AND GREEN ENERGY FAIR -October
The ASES Houston Solar Tour (2012)covered a variety of solar solutions,from commercial installations and residential projects to solar thermal hot water and pool heaters. The Green Energy Fair took place in combination with the Energy Day Festival 2012 in downtown Houston. The 2013 Tour has yet to be scheduled.
