8th Annual Fish Cookoff benefiting Rays of Hope
Hello All
Marcel Montalvo and I are throwing our 8th Annual Fish Cookoff on October 11 from 6 to 10 pm. This year the cookoff is benefiting Rays of Hope Austin, a project of A Nurtured World, where we renovate low income homes to make them more energy and water efficient and install solar-PV systems to generate their power. These efforts improve the quality of life for some of our not-so-fortunate citizens of Austin. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Guerrero, Parks, Jaimes, and Rosales families of East Austin.
The cost for the event is only $15 per person (age 12 and over) and that covers all food, drink, and live music. Kids are free! With exception of the yellowfin tuna, Marcel and I have caught all of the fish that we are serving. We have refined the menu over the past seven years, so we guarantee that you are going to be blown away! If not for the food, come for the music, company, or just to make a difference. Here's the flyer.
Please RSVP and donate online so we can make sure we have enough food ( www.1houseatatime.org ).We look forward to seeing you there.
Cheers!
