Join TXSES chapter North Texas Renewable Energy Group on Saturday, July 11th, at 10:00 a.m. for a Zoom-only presentation to learn why Audubon Society members are advocates for renewable energy.
The extreme weather changes and billion dollar weather disasters we’ve been experiencing for the past 50 years are decimating bird populations throughout Texas and the U.S. By accelerating the transition to clean energy, we can significantly reduce carbon emissions, ultimately helping to save the two-thirds of North American bird species and their habitats, which are currently at risk of extinction.
About the Speaker
Nathan May is an educator at the Trinity River Audubon Society. He will describe how Audubon advocates for clean energy through a balanced, hands-on approach, including saving habitats, responsible siting of energy infrastructure, mitigation, and innovation.
