For more than four decades, TXSES has been the pre-eminent statewide organization developing free thought-leading, independent, fact-based educational materials that inspire innovation, share best practices and educate decision-makers on the critical importance of sound, favorable solar policies that will grow the industry; protect clean air; build healthy, resilient communities; support local, well-paying jobs; and lay the foundation for building a strong solar foundation for a 100% clean energy future for Texas, one community at a time.

Austin Energy Green Building

Austin Energy Green Building (AEGB) cultivates innovation in building for the enrichment of the community’s environmental, economic, and human well-being. In 1991, AEGB developed the first rating system in the U.S. for evaluating the sustainability of buildings, inspiring many cities to follow. AEGB supports TXSES for the annual Cool House Tour and other projects that make Austin a more sustainable place to live for generations to come.

EarthShare of Texas is a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation committed to making environmental support as easy as possible by donating through workplace payroll contribution campaigns. Since 1992, EarthShare of Texas has raised funds on behalf of more than 40 nonprofits like TXSES. TXSES is honored to be an EarthShare member charity.

Reliant Energy EcoShare Program

Sign up for Reliant Energy’s EcoShare™ program and a small monthly charge will be added to your electricity bill. Part of that charge will go to EarthShare of Texas, and a portion will go toward purchasing carbon offsets. Reliant EcoShare™ participants have helped raise more than a million dollars to help EarthShare of Texas support dozens of local environmental groups like TXSES.
